Sam J. Wood born in Blackpool, north west of England. Her passion for music and the entertainment business took her (still a teenager) on her first job as backing vocals/dancer around europe which enabled her to progress and discover herself as a musician and dancer/coreographer. During the mid 90's her artistic career brought her to italy where she started a long term collaboration with top italian artist jovanotti as coreographer/dancer. Appearing on his european tour “una tribu’ che balla”, including promotional television tour on various music programmes (“festivalbar”, “buona domenica”), featuring on jovanotti's lp “lorenzo”, writes and performes rap on his single "one nation". Another featuring on “eledanca's” (ex casino’ royal) single "sei la mia donna". Towards the end of 1990 is signed to warner bros for the european market. During the same period of time she has performed as dancer and mc in all the top clubs throughout europe (pascia-ibiza, ku-ibizia, music festivals- switzerland, paradiso-rimini, pascià-riccione, pineta-m.marittima; fura-desenzano del garda etc..Also working as a dj. Specialised in r&b, hip hop, jazz funk (ku-rimini, nrg-cesenatico, moxie-riccione, fura-desenzano etc…Her world of music brings her to the tv screen as v.j. & presenter (network 9, private networks), as speaker for "radio & disco riccione” and voices for various radio networks (radio studio piu’, radio company, radio viva fm) and as host of live & special events.
