AUDIOAIR ft. Holly Wood

:: Turn Your Camera On ::

Introducing the debut release from electronica pop project AUDIOAIR.  Featuring the vocal talents of 23 year-old Holly Wood, “Turn Your Camera On” is due for release this February.  In addition to the radio edit, various club remixes will be hitting dancefloors across Europe soon.

AUDIOAIR is the brainchild of Italian producer / songwriter Federico Conti (aka Mahjong, Mister Gone, Denim J, Nardis) and British singer / songwriter Michael Macdermid.

 Michael Macdermid

Songwriter, musician and singer based in the north of Scotland, UK, Michael collaborates with dance writers who have amassed over sixty Top 40 hits amongst them.  Recently, he has had success with the band Outbox – their debut single hitting the Top 40 in Scotland.  As a performer, Michael has shared the stage with renowned chart-toppers, from the Sugababes and Liberty X to Hue and Cry and Doctor and the Medics, playing to crowds of thousands.  As an aside, Michael produces and presents a successful UK radio show aiming to help ‘break’ new artists.  He has produced acoustic sessions with Kate Nash, The Goo Goo Dolls, Paolo Nutini, The Zutons and Hard-Fi, amongst others.

 Holly Wood

Despite being just 22, Holly already has a wealth of experience under her musical belt.  Performing at the likes of London Fashion Week and regular stints all over Europe, especially the Mediterranean, she has developed into the stunning vocalist she is today.  With her Kylie-esque approach (and looks!), Rachael is now ready to make the move into the world of dance/pop.

Having started recording in studios at the age of 16, Holly’s experience in the studio has grown with every new project.  Her latest ventures include the Outbox project, two pop tracks with top UK producers and a solo album.  She is also sought-after as both a vocalist and a keyboard player, and when she is not performing - she is usually in the studio recording or writing.
